Senior finance and executive appointment roles in technology businesses involve leading the financial and strategic direction of the company. These roles may include:

  • Senior finance: This role typically includes responsibilities such as managing the company's financial operations, creating financial projections and reports, and developing financial strategies to support the company's growth. A senior finance professional in a technology business may also lead a team of finance professionals and work closely with other departments such as sales, marketing, and product development.

  • Executive appointments: These roles typically include positions such as CEO, CFO, COO, or CTO. These executives are responsible for setting the overall direction and strategy of the company, and making high-level decisions that will impact the company's financial performance. They work with the board of directors, and other senior leaders to develop and implement the company's long-term plans and goals.

These roles typically require a great deal of experience in finance or business management, as well as strong leadership and strategic thinking skills. In technology businesses, it's also important to have a strong understanding of technology trends and the competitive landscape of the industry. Additionally, experience in M&A, fundraising, and/or leading a high-growth company is often required for these roles.

'Harry placed me into my first CFO role which involved a series of video and in person interviews, complex negotiations around package and LTI plan and a family relocation from the USA back to the U.K. Harry managed the process very well and kept me informed at all times, prepared me for a challenging interview process, briefed me on company culture and managed expectations well on both sides. The role was indeed a good fit, and after my positive experience I later engaged the team at Camino to find candidates for key hires in my new Finance team.'
