​Chief Financial Officer - Gaming

​​Camino Search is delighted to be working with an investor-backed gaming business in helping them secure a finance leader for their exciting journey. With an impressive management team being put in place, this scale-up is in a great position to capitalise on the brilliant market they are within. 

This Finance Director will play a strategic role on the board, collaborating with the board to drive strategy, make critical operational decisions, and build the investor story. We're open to meeting first time ambitious FDs or very experienced CFOs with multiple transactions under their belts. As CFO/FD you will help drive the business through significant organic growth over the next 3-5 years. 

Responsibilities:

• Build effective commercial relationships across the business, ensuring finance is seen as a business partner rather than a 'back-office'

• Develop a first-class FP & A function to help the business scale. The business needs decision enabling analytics

• Oversee and finalise the board packs for the exec board and investors

• Lead financial planning aligned to M & A, Recruitment, Events, Sales, Expansion

• Ensure timely and accurate compliance with internal financial and accounting policies

• Own the production of timely statutory and management accounts

Qualifications and skills:

• ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified

• Experience within a VC/PE backed start-up

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Experience in scaling technology firm, ideally in gaming
