As the CFO, you will play a critical role in driving financial growth during what is an interesting stage in their evolution - with a transaction in the near horizon. The Role:

This is an awesome commercial CFO position with great exposure and influence. This individual will be a true partner to the management team in a both exciting and critical period of the businesses journey. We’re searching for someone who is hungry to make an impact upon the wider business. The successful individual will enjoy being central to driving revenues, change, transformation, and leading various teams.

The business has a very strong reputation and has proudly developed a range of award-winning games that put them on the map in the industry. They have a highly skilled product and leadership team as well as a strong and stable finance function. With these in place, this this individual will have the scope to liaise with department leaders to focus on enhancing monetization opportunities, optimizing content, and increasing market share.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company's growth objectives and maximize shareholder value.

- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting.

- Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team and board of directors, contributing to the overall business strategy and decision-making process.

- Manage and optimize the company's capital structure, including fundraising activities and investor relations.

- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.

- Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

- Exit experience in VC/PE backed environment.

- Proven track record in progressively responsible financial leadership roles, preferably within the technology industry or venture capital-backed companies.

- Strong understanding of venture capital financing, fundraising, and investor relations.

- Exceptional financial analysis and forecasting skills, with the ability to provide strategic insights and recommendations.

- Extensive knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and reporting standards.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of building and developing high-performing finance teams.
