​Group Financial Controller

We're delighted to be partnering with a private equity-backed IT Services business in helping them secure an excellent Group Financial Controller. As a true leader of group finance, you will be central to the smooth running and constant improvement of the end-to-end finance function, from regulatory/statutory finance and M & A integration, through to business partnering and commercial finance. This is a well exposed and broad position, working in collaboration with divisional FD's/FC's, the CFO, and external advisors.

Our client is a fast-growing business that has grown via an impressive buy and build strategy. The business is looking to grow considerably over the next 3-4 years. We are looking for someone who has the potential to drive change, engage with demanding and bright stakeholders, and work with investors/advisors. This individual is going to play a critical role in driving the business towards their next private equity transaction.

A bit about you:

  • Controllership focused finance leader with very strong 'group' experience.

  • Experience in IT Services, Consulting, or Outsourcing business models.

  • ACA qualified, worked with big 4, experience working with PE investors, graduated from a top university.

  • You will be a superb technical accountant who has the ability to quickly identify issues and find solutions.

Responsibilities will include:

  • The constant improvement of controls, processes, reporting.

  • Driving transformational change across the business in line with strategic 3-5 year plan.

  • Driving performance across all finance functions.

  • Development and succession planning of finance team from resource perspective.

  • Management of the financial accounting, statutory reporting, and year-end audit.

  • Management of group treasury, tax, international tax planning, and financial and regulatory compliance.

  • Management of several FD's of business units within the group.

  • Responsible for driving systems improvements and implementations.

  • Responsible for M & A due diligence and integration work from a people, process, and systems perspective.

  • Manage external relationships with advisors.
