Company Overview: Our client are a dynamic and rapidly growing technology enabled business with a current revenue of £4 million, recently acquired by growth investors. Our client are about to embark on a new phase of growth, including two imminent acquisitions, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to professionalise the finance function and prepare the company for significant scaling.

Position Overview:
 The Head of Finance will play a critical role in transforming the finance operations, implementing robust management information (MI) systems, reporting, and governance frameworks. This role requires close collaboration with the founder CEO to ensure financial stability and support strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Finance Function Professionalisation: Overhaul and streamline financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Management Information Systems: Develop and implement strong MI systems to provide timely and accurate financial insights.
  • Financial Reporting: Ensure comprehensive and compliant financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Governance: Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process and provide accurate financial forecasts to support strategic planning.
  • Acquisition Integration: Manage financial aspects of acquisitions, including , integration, and post-acquisition financial management.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with institutional investors, providing transparent and detailed financial updates.
Qualifications:
  • Education: ACA, ACCA. CIMA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior finance role, preferably within a high-growth environment.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
  • Attributes: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with a founder CEO and other senior leaders.
