Corporate Development Practice expands sector focus to build teams 'fund-side'
London, United Kingdom - The M&A and Corporate Development practice at Camino Search is expanding from its three core specialisms within B2B SaaS.
Having already built several origination teams within private equity (PE) houses, Camino Search is now able to start placing global investment professionals.
We're adding to our existing expertise of:
- Partnering with PE portfolio companies to build M&A teams. These companies have standard PE life cycles, and integrate all deals.
- Partnering with PE, VC, Family offices, and HNWI to create & incubate new roll ups from scratch
- Partnering with LPs that don't currently do direct investments, to create new holding companies
"Having built a global track record within these specialisms, Camino Search has worked with the majority of top-tier sponsors and are responsible for c. $11 billion, that is going to be deployed over the next 5 years," says Nathan Placks, Camino Search's lead on M&A search consulting.

The Camino Search Operation has expanded considerably since the start of 2023 having experienced 20% growth in talent placement in its global finance search markets.
The operation also moved into its new head office near London's Liverpool Street station, in Q2 of 2023.
